EXPERIENCE TRY DRIVING

WHERE IS IT?

Malpas, Nr CHESTER, Cheshire, ENGLAND.

WHAT IS IT?

This is a partnership of three local teenagers, who wish to allow others to enjoy the experience of being in control of their motor vehicles. They have had the benefit of driving different vehicles for a number of years, and have often encouraged their friends to have a go. So far everybody who has tried driving with them, has enjoyed the experience.

However, Motor Vehicles can easily be used in an unsafe way, the boys have learned the importance of safety first. This is an opportunity for others to gain safe practical experience whilst under control.
When you decide to have a go at TRY DRIVING, you should find that every reasonable precaution has and will continue to be taken. Any recommendations for improvements will always be carefully considered.

HOW MUCH IS IT?

It is £7.50 an hour for a group of four sharing to £20.00 for an individual session.

WHAT HAPPENS?

Drivers are accompanied in the vehicle by an ADULT SUPERVISOR, except in some cases when in the buggy. Each group will stay with the same supervisor throughout the hour session of their
TRY DRIVING EXPERIENCE. Drivers who are under 18 years of age are very welcome with a completed PARENTAL CONSENT FORM, for which we insist that at every session, a representative adult observes and satisfies themselves that all unnecessary risks have been eliminated.

OPTIONS & PROGRESS.

Although each group is asked to choose the two vehicles they would prefer to drive, they will not be permitted to use a vehicle that is obviously beyond the competence of their groups least able member. A safety supervisor will be available to determine difficult decisions. The starter vehicle is a two seater go-kart in which even toddlers can ride, hold the steering wheel and believe they are in charge. Records will be kept so that improvements can be monitored and visitors can progress on to more advanced vehicles in the future.

CAUTION

The aim is to allow visitors the chance to have a go at driving in a safe environment. It is not intended to be a white knuckle ride for the visitors and certainly not for the supervisors. A second attempt at excessive speed or reckless behaviour will result in immediate DISQUALIFICATION of that driver.

EXPERIENCE

As the vehicles are all located OFF ROAD, it may well be possible to experience the different handling characteristics of the various vehicles. More capable drivers will be permitted to experience the principles of SKID CONTROL and the different effects of excessive acceleration on FWD and RWD cars. Those visitors who are obviously well experienced will be able to drive the 4WD through the interesting and testing special track, hidden in the woodland beside the other vehicle driving areas. Even if you are not yet experienced enough to TRY DRIVING 4WD, it may well be possible for you to be taken as a passenger round the track, as long as sufficient time and an experienced driver are available. If not, do book to come back again, even twelve year olds can become capable of driving this track, but we must all remember to think SAFETY FIRST.
