Never too old to Step?At 72, Arthur Willis (above left) is the oldest member of a Latin Link Senior Step Team spending four weeks with church projects in Santo Domingo de los Colorados, Ecuador. One of the driving forces behind Senior Step, Arthur has taken on the legacy of Latin Link's Douglas Edmonds who died earlier this year, aged 75, who first saw the opportunity for older people to take part in Step, a Latin American experience programme originally conceived for young people. This is Arthur's third Step venture. Laurence East, who co-ordinates the programme, echoes Arthur's enthusiasm: 'We see Senior Step as an important thing for the future.' Senior Step is for committed Christians over 35 who feel they could still help dig foundations and mix concrete - as well as use their other valuable life skills. To find
