A cassette which acts as a companion to the Ashtray Heart CD, but is only available from The Durham Ox, Bowling Green Street, Leicester and is FREE but to get one you have to drink ten different malt whiskies at the pub (not necessarily all at once !). The tape is limited to fifty numbered copies and over half have already gone so you'll have to be quick if you want one. The tape consists of 14 exclusive tracks, none of which will be re-issued until the Sorted Records 8CD "Hits and rarities" box set planned for the year 2010. The tracks are :
Side One :
| 1. | Killing Time | Performance | (recorded at the same session as their Ashtray Heart track) |
| 2. | Shades of blue | Stormclouds | (debut release from this Nottingham band) |
| 3. | Crooked finger | Lid | (Final release from the now defunct band) |
| 4. | Job Club | Kooky Monster | (newly re-mixed track from their first ever studio session- much earlier than the version on the single) |
| 5. | Live for today | Wrinkly pink catsuits | (demo version) |
| 6. | Old people are fucking rude | The K-Stars | (recorded with Brian & The Teenagers' producer, a studio version of a live highlight from this sadly defunct band) |
| 7. | Wired | Gonzo Salvage company | (unreleased track which was originally recorded for their aborted album) |
| Side | Two: | ||
| 1. | Svengali | Fish From Tahiti | (new recording) |
| 2. | Drowned dream wreckage | Kevin Hewick | (experimental version of the track from the third Sorted EP, recorded in a bathroom for that Joe Meek sound) |
| 3. | Suprmalt/103.2 | The Freed Unit | (different version of Suprmalt than the version on the album, 103.2 is an unreleased song) |
| 4. | TCR (American mix) | Prolapse | (one of four different mixes made for the American market, this one was unused) |
| 5. | Diatonic | John Sims | (recorded at the same time as the track on the third EP, this is the only recorded vocal featuring ex-vocalist Chris, who has now left the band) |
| 6. | Mind the death | The Council | (this showcases the bands more experimental side as opposed to the wild men of punk side seen on the Ashtray Heart CD) |
| 7. | Surreal Neil | Noize 'R' Us | (this is one of only two recordings made by this short lived Leicester Supergroup which featured Mick from Prolapse, and Joni and Julie from John Sims, and is a tribute to their hero, Neil Brown. The track also features taped telephone contributions from members of The Council, Fish from Tahiti, The K-Stars, Prolapse, and John Sims and also features a guest appearance by Mick Derrick's dad. |
