from the Home Office to the Department for Culture, Media and Sport (or as it was then
called the Department of National Heritage) in 1992. A list of guidance notes
produced by those departments in connection with the Safety at Sports Grounds Act 1975 and
the Fire Safety and Safety of Places of Sport Act 1987 is set out below. The
