Comments: An excellent overview for those not acquainted with the Town. We are frequent visitors to Bridgwater and naturally interested in its history. Looking at some of the photographs, one can easily identify them with their current surroundings. One thing I would like to know is where Fore Street gets its name from - there seems to be many Fore Streets in Somerset and its origin intrigues us. Thank you for taking the trouble to compile the website.
