The Myositis Support Group

 Annual General Meeting and Conference

 will be held on :

Saturday 12th July 2003

 at the Paragon Hotel, Birmingham.

We have once again chosen the Paragon Hotel (formally the Chamberlain Hotel) as the venue for our conference.  Our decision to hold conferences here was on the basis of feedback from our members who attended the 1999 conference, held at the same hotel.

This venue enables us to hold our AGM and conference in an informal setting so that our members can meet at ease.  The room is on the ground floor and set out with round tables to allow those in wheel chairs and walking aids free to move and interact as easily as those of us slightly more mobile.  We have requested that all refreshments and the main lunch are served in the same room.  Also on the same floor near the conference room is a toilet for the disabled and a lift serves all floors for those wishing to stay in the hotel.

We hope you will enjoy the presentations given by our invited speakers, as well as the opportunity of meeting new and old friends. The Conference is free to members, and membership is also free.  However, in order for us to cater for all-comers, please fill in a registration form, and send to Irene Oakley.
