Andy Anderson's Tall Tales 
Some of you may know that I'm into story-telling: everything from tall-taleing, which goes with the territory of working with RAF and Navy folk, to epic poems. If you are at all interested in this kind of thing, and you've never been to a story-telling session before, check out the sessions at Sidmouth - probably in the garden of the Volunteer again - for some of the best talent around. It hadn't struck me until recently that the net is an almost perfect medium for this kind of thing, but you only have to look at the number of funny techie stories which make up about 20% of what I get emailed, to realise that what we have here is the e-space version of a dimly-lit pub back room, with a nice warm fire and a glass or two of strong ale on a dark, cold winter's night.
