Red Stags' Christmas Mummers' Collection 1997/8 raised just over Ł720 (and a few franks, marks and cents). The 1999 collection is going well and we've already sent a cheque for Ł190. But you can still donate if you want; every penny will be used by INF staff in Nepal. The money is going to the new INF Clinic at Butwal - click on the map for details.	Bandages The International Nepal Fellowship works with the government and people of Nepal to give medical care and treatment for diseases such as leprosy. Here's a message from one of the Doctors who will be working at the clinic.
A mobile leprosy clinic at Nawalparasi, April 1995. The clinic serves about 180 patients who meet it "under the tree" once a month. "I got the message, loud and clear... Thanks for organising the appeal. It's a lot of money raised; you know how far a little goes here, so a sum of this size is a huge help! "...the list of things that they need seems endless! "...immediately, this will allow me to fit out the 'guest room' ... including a British quality mosquito net... [this is the accomodation for visiting staff - items as simple as a quality mosquito net, which most tourists take for granted, will allow visitors to work at the site without risk, since any anti-malarials which they have been taking for their own area may be ineffective at Butwal] "...over 60% of our patients are in the catchment area for this clinic, so it's only a matter of time before a lot of my work moves there.
