Once again, the August barbecue was held at the home of Jean and Dan Glading. After the rain of preceding days and nights, the weather was again kind with a mostly cloudless sky. Short-sleeved shirts, and even shorts, were plentiful and the event seemed set to go on late into the evening, when the author had, sadly, to leave early. But not before everyone had sampled the whole barbecue and the homemade desserts.
The Chairman expressed the thanks of those present to Jean and Dan for their invitation to hold our barbecue at their home and for all the hard work they had done in preparation and on the day.
