Morning Services |
Please note that there are two main morning services, at 9:15a.m. and 10:45a.m. Apart from the first Sunday of each month, the sermon will be repeated at both services. All Age Services will take place at the 10:45a.m. service on the first Sunday of each month. Child care is not available at the 9:15a.m. service. At 10:45a.m. the children will be with the adults in church for the start of the service and after about 20 minutes leave for their various activities in The J'Zone Club and Pathfinders.
The sermon series for the autumn term will focus on what it means to be a follower of Jesus. The New Testament uses many images (some from the lips of Jesus, others from Paul and the other writers) to describe what it means to be a follower of Jesus, a minister of the Gosple and a leader in the Church. The series will help us explore the meaning of these images and metaphors. During Advent we will follow the traditional pattern of Bible readings as we explore the hope that is in us as people who look back to the achievement of Jesus in drawing us to God and forward to His triumphant return.
