The Great Cup Victory

We went to Wembly with everythingto play for, as Aston Villa crushed any
chance of UEFA Cup quilification last week. Ruud's men had to be motivated
for the occasion and they were just that. Di Matteo Proved how much
he was worth in the 42 second when he recieved the ball from inside
his own half sprinted up the pitch and lobbed it over the keeper from
all of 35 yards. From then on we dictated the second half with a great
chance for Minto. In the second half Middlesborough started to get
back into the match but in the 81 minute Petrescu Lobbed it across
the face of the goal PFA Player of the Year Zola back healed the ball
to just outside the 6 yard box and Newton finished it off........
Final score 2-0 just as i predicted..<>
