As this section was not introduced on the site until January 2000,
most earlier 'What's New' items were not recorded here.
1. Sorry if you have a broken link on your website to one of my web pages.
During February / March 2008 it became apparent that the side navigation on individual pages in the "Images" section of this website was becoming rather cumbersome as more pages have been added than were ever envisaged. A re-think was needed, which has involved re-naming quite a few webpages as well as redesigning the side navigation. Apologies to anyone who has a link to pages that have had to be renamed.
2. 1871 Census Strays in Lancashire
Brian Greatorex continues to find additional names to those already identified in his searches of the Lancashire census looking for Derbyshire Strays. He also regularly sends updates of the Matlock people found in the county to expand basic information already provided. So whilst the update may not be listed as a "What's New" for the name, it may be worth you rechecking.
