Welcome to the Open London Gathering
The London Open House weekend is a unique event that takes place across the capital over one weekend each September, providing free public access to hundreds of buildings of architectural and community interest to Londoners.

The London Open House event is usually held on the third weekend in September, each year and was initiated in 1992 and has gradually been supplemented by a wide range of programmes, projects and services that are provided across the year.

Typically this annual weekend event manages to get around 500-600 buildings open to the public across the capital. This amazing initiative has been running for over a decade and draws hundreds of thousands to see behind the normally closed doors.

In September 2003 I joined this growing number who take the opportunity to see some of London's treasures. Within these pages are will be an archive of the best of what London has to offer, as I and anyone else makes visits during the Open House Weekend.

The St Pancras Chambers - 2003
Better known as being the fascade for St. Pancras Station, the gothic hotel is about to get a new lease of life. This was a final chance to see the hotel as it was, before it gets converted into a flashy new hotel.
