Purpose
CSEM Internships offer leadership development
through work in the Centre while pursuing the CSEM
Masters Programme in Integrated Sustainable Management for Business .
An Internship provides a means of participating in the Masters Programme without incurring the
full
cost of the Programme.

This Programme may be able to help, if you can answer yes to most

Are you/ have you been a professional with responsibilities for
corporate Environmental Management, Corporate Social Responsibility
and /or Sustainable Development issues?
Do you have, or could you obtain with tutorial support, the knowledge,
understanding and skills to develop board level proposals for a
household name organisation?
Are you in a position to have a portfolio career for a couple of
years?
Can you 'make ends meet' working only half a week, over the two
years of the Masters?
Would you like to work with CSEM for the other half of the week?
Would you like to support other participants?
Do you have background knowledge, skills and qualities enough to
earn yourself a place?
Programme Summary
Up to six 'Internships' will be available at any one time.
Commitment: 2 years; 2.5 days or 20 hours a week; 10 additional hours
every 2 months (or 2 evenings).
The hours you work will be given credits towards your
MA /MSc modules.
3 hours = 1 credit; 50 credits = 150 hours = 1 module.
One week off for an MSc module about every second month.
Annual leave: 12 days.
Cost: Registration fee of £700.
The role will involve assistance with research, client development
and support, enrolment, module logistics and completion, and will
include liaison with and support for the
CSEM academic faculty.
Study for the course and assignments will be outside these hours.
