BLACK SHOES ONLY. Trainers must not be worn in school.
(Some black soles mark the floors, so parents are asked to keep this
in mind when purchasing footwear.)
THE SCHOOL BLAZER IS A COMPULSORY ITEM OF SCHOOL UNIFORM AND MUST BE
WORN AT ALL TIMES
P.E. KIT BOYS (years 10-12)
White T-shirt, Black Shorts or TrackSuit Bottoms. Suitable gym shoes
and football boots for grass.
P.E KIT GIRLS (years 10 -12)
White T-shirt, black P.E. skirt/shorts and suitable gym shoes.
P.E KIT GIRLS (years 8 + 9)
White T-shirt, black P.E. skirt/shorts and suitable gym shoes.
All pupils will be expected to purchase the new St Joseph's PE kit (£18.00)
There is no official stockist of school uniform. Most items are readily
available in any good clothing outlet. Menswear, Modern Man, McLaughlin's
of Strabane and Kemps of Newtownstewart are known stockists. The school
crest may be bought in school and attached to breast pocket of blazers.
THE WEARING OF JEWELLERY IN SCHOOL
Pupils are forbidden to wear finger rings of any description in school.
The wearing of earrings is also forbidden (a single pair of studs or fine
sleepers is acceptable).
OTHER VALUABLES
Any item of value should be left at home. The school and its teachers
cannot be responsible for damage to or loss of any item EVEN IF handed
in for safekeeping.
Mobile phones are not permitted on the school premises
A high standard of personal appearance is expected of all students and
anyone arriving at school in non-uniform clothing must have a valid reason
with a writen note from parents |
