PUBLIC EXAMINATIONS / EXAMINATION QUALIFICATIONS
It is school policy to make sure that no pupil should leave school without a qualification of some kind. The school can and does make this provision. External examinations are held at fixed times each year, mostly in May and June. Poor attendance definitely affects the quality of the final grades pupils are awarded by the examination bodies. Parents can help their children by making sure that they;

1) attend school every day particularly in years 11 and 12,
2) ensure that they do the homework set in years 11 and 12,
3) organise and plan a revision strategy for the examinations,
4) ensure that revision takes place leading up to the examinations, and come in on time, and on the correct day, to do the examinations. .

We offer NVQ vocational courses to those pupils with the interest and bias. These courses  require the co-operation of our local Technical Colleges, and as such, those that follow NVQ's would be taught at the college/s one day a week.
