CURRICULUM
All the pupils at St. Joseph's follow a broad and balanced curriculum as laid down by the regulations of The Education Reform (NI) Order 1989. Each pupil will be encouraged to strive towards the highest possible level of achievement in each area of the curriculum.

Classes are streamed, i.e. pupils are graded according to ability and application. Pupils with learning difficulties receive special attention in a class with a specialist teacher. The number of pupils in this class is kept as low as possible. The following is the structure of the Curriculum for the KS3 Junior School (Years 8 - 10) and is based on a 55, 30 minute period week
