Our school is called
St. Joseph's. It is situated outside a small village called Plumbridge.
It is not as big as what other schools are, around the Omagh area.
There are four different levels in the main building, On the ground
floor there is the cloakrooms, the three Science rooms, the I.T. room and
the Technology Block.
On the second floor there is the Maths room, the Home Economics room,
the
Geography room, the secretaries office, our principals' office, the
Assembly
Hall and Gym and finally the Cafeteria.
On the third floor there is the Library, the Irish room, the 2nd I.T.
room, and the Reprographics room. On the top floor there is an Art room,
an English room, the French room and a R.E. room.
There are six Temporary classrooms outside at the back of the school.
T1 = Mrs Keenan (history teacher), T2 = Mrs Kearney (special needs teacher),
T3 = Miss Devine (music teacher), T4 = Miss McClements (English and P.E.
teacher), T5 = Mr. McGlynn (art teacher), and T6 = Mrs Conway (drama teacher).
Alltogether in our school there are 20 teachers, 20 classrooms and 280
pupils.
We have four tennis courts, a grass pitch that we mainly play soccer
and Gaelic football on, and a floodlit all weather pitch.
Our school has achieved a lot of things such as, entering the UTV Choir
of the Year where we came third, the winning team in Gaelic football for
the school, plus many more.
