The choir has always been an important part of school life in St
Joseph's and has competed successfully in local competition for several
years. This year the choir entered the UTV Ulster Schol Choir of the Year
competition where they finished joint 3rd in the Western Area heat. This
was a very creditable result at their first attempt. The competition, and
their appearance on television, has given the girls a great sense of achievement
and has generated much interest with many pupils now asking to join for
next years competition.
