ADMISSIONS
The Department of Education controls the number
of pupils on the roll of each school. We are allowed 365 pupils, approximately
70 in each year group. The Department allows us to take no more than 70
new first year pupils. At present St. Joseph's has a teaching staff of
19 and an enrolment of 265 pupils.
In selecting children for admission to the school
we apply the criteria as set out by the Governing body and the Western
Education and Library Board's Handbook, copies of which are available on
request.
