NAVAL CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP

FELLOWSHIP ACTIVITIES

Our Fellowship weekends, houseparties and conferences in the naval leave periods build and strengthen friendships and leadership is usually in the hands of serving members.

Bellever on Devon West Country Weekend in February, when we take over a Youth Hostel on Dartmoor for a weekend of Christian fellowship with walks up the Tor, home cooked meals and fellowship around the log fire.
Ancient Mariners, as our ex-serving members are affectionately known, have their own get-togethers in different areas and a week on the Norfolk Broads. Norfolk Broads
Rora House, Devon Summer Holidays - at Rora House Christian Centre on the edge of the Dartmoor national park in Devon. Families enjoy this and can camp and caravan in its lovely grounds - picture is Rora House, Devon
Amport House, the Armed Forces Chaplaincy Centre, is the venue for our spring and autumn Fellowship Weekend Conferences. Its magnificent grounds deep in the Hampshire countryside make a delightful setting. These weekends provide a wonderful opportunity to spend time with God and in fellowship with other Christians facing the challenge of naval life.Picture of Amport House

Hill House near Bridgewater in Somerset, is the venue for our Years' End family gathering and lasts 3 days. About 80 of us are usually present. There are daily Bible studies and a children's programme. We have a special New Year's Eve programme.

In the past we have canoed, camped and cycled in France and Switzerland; and enjoyed off-shore sailing, and walking in Wensleydale and the Lake District.
