Well, it's February 2001 now, and still only two newsletters have been put
on-line. The trouble is, what looks good on an A4 page is a mess on a computer
screen! So by the time I've got round to making a web version, a lot of stuff
is out of date, and anyway the people that it's aimed at have already got their
own paper copy.
So we're skipping ahead a bit, and missing some stuff out.
(Jono and Chris - that's why the September issue hasn't
arrived yet)
D-Day 2001 and another newsletter goes online, less than a month after it was printed. Will such efficiency continue?
January 2002 - We've got an updated DTP program, so we tried the web publishing option again. It's quick, but I can see there being problems.
December 2002 - There were problems. No more newsletters will be going online as such. Suitable stories will be added to the site in their own right. Stories of limited interest, like closure dates, competitions, birthdays, will be on paper only.
