| The Ancient Harp of Scotland is very much a solo album and in fact could be a live recording of a concert other that the two places where Willliam Jackson has used multi-tracking. This recording is a true celebration of the Scottish harp as a solo instrument. It is a collection of 14 tracks of old traditional Scottish tunes played on a mixture of gut-strung harp (Jack Yule lightstrung) and wire-strung harp (Triplett Harps).
