Magnus Waggeg Memorial Gig
The gig was held in a good-sized hall and there were plenty of stalls
there. The first band on was playing for the first time called Rage
& Fury. They had a bit of trouble with the P.A. as happens at most
gigs, but once they got it sorted out they showed that they have a
lot of potential. They were well received.
Next up were Legion of St George. As powerful as ever and they
went through their usual songs and some from their new album.
Then Ken from Brutal Attack jumped on stage and did a few songs
with a made up band.
He had just swapped T-Shirts with a Russian Comrade who was staying
over with TP Comrades (we're not sure if the Russian has changed his
T-Shirt yet...) and how we chuckled when he pulled the Russia T-Shirt
to bits on stage!
There was a collection being made to help send the body of Magnus
Waggeg back to his German Fatherland and the Brutal Attack
team helped in this considerably. A good gesture and a lot of money
raised by everyone for a good cause.
Next up were Archivum from Hungary. These went through a set
of very powerful songs that got everyone going mad. The dance area
was packed throughout their set. These are a very good band and should
be seen at all cost if you get the chance.
Last but not least the Welsh Dragons Celtic Warrior were up.
They did an excellent set of their old and new songs. Favourite ones
being White Reich and Rise to the Wings
from the new album Invaders.
An excellent gig all round and well done everyone who gave money
for our comrade Max.
