Stigger and Dario Bressan in Central London

On Saturday, 8th May 1999 the Third Position pulled off a feat which our enemies on the left and right never dreamed possible! It just shows what Revolutionary Nationalism's capable of with the Third Position's hard work, courage and discreet planning.

Taking the bus to the venue, I was struck by how alien Central London has become. Groups of so-called minorities act as if they own the place.

After a short wait my Third Position comrades turned up following a successful day of activities and paper sales.

We all headed off to the venue which was just a short five minutes stroll from the station. Comrades were there to greet us at the door and direct us down the stairs to the private function room.

Once we got down stairs I had a good look around, there was a fair number of men and women already at the bar so after greeting each other we took our seats and waited for the entertainment to start. The downstairs area was a fair sized place with comfortable room for around 100 people with a lot of tables spread out and enough seats to go round.

In no time at all the venue had quickly filled out and I haven't seen such a friendly, good natured crowd for years. I spent the time before the singers came on stage to socialize with old mates and enjoy drinking to their health and toasting the future.

First singer up was Dario Bressan from Italy and even though he sang in a language which I couldn't understand the passion and the love for his nation and our Europe shone through any linguistic barriers.

Stigger, who had been in the audience, went up on stage to do a duo with Dario, and for the finale the singer of Londinium SPQR shared vocals to bring a superb set to a powerful end.

Back to the bar to have another beer and talk to more friends and before I knew it, it was time for Stigger, who started of with some friendly banter with the audience and then went straight into classic after classic. One song just melted into the next as we all sang along. Beautiful England, one of Warlord's best, was followed by Tomorrow Belongs To Me and the anti-Brothers War classic Green Fields of France. It was all superb - even with some Welsh bloke in the audience singing along very loudly in an out of tune manner!

If you've got the Stigger Ballads Evening in Denmark CD you would know most of the songs. If you haven't had the pleasure of listening to Stigger I strongly advise you to buy the CD now from Final Conflict. Before I knew it, the gig was over but not until I shouted myself hoarse for Night Trains, Skrewdriver's masterpiece, which Stigger obligingly used to finish his set with.

As I've mentioned before, I've never been to a gig before where everyone was in such high spirits. Everyone there knew we had pulled of a major victory against the Zionist enemy by holding a gig in the very heart of Central London. The Third Position, who arranged it, can't be congratulated highly enough.

Bravo to everyone involved!
