unacknowledged by any organisation.

"SUDEP Awareness in Primary Care - A Guide for GP's
and Members of the Primary Health Care Team".
Collaborated
with the Epilepsy Research Foundation to fund the first
two medical research fellowships into SUDEP and
established a research fund for projects on its
prevention.
Conceived
and organised the first major international gathering of
scientists to address the issue of SUDEP (1996), leading
to an international medical research publication in 1997.
Gained
funding in 1999 for a national audit of epilepsy-related
deaths.This study will help to set standards for epilepsy
services and investigation of epilepsy-related deaths,
and will identify areas for preventative research.
Obtained
the British nomination for 1999/2000 for an international
award for services to people with epilepsy.
