Epilepsy Bereaved is a charity which was launched in 1996 during a service of remembrance for all those who had died from epilepsy.  Epilepsy Bereaved is a member of the Joint Epilepsy Council and works with other epilepsy organizations.

Our aims are

To work toward prevention of deaths from epilepsy, including SUDEP, through raising awareness and promoting research.

To provide information and support to people bereaved by epilepsy.

Most of the work of Epilepsy Bereaved is carried out by dedicated volunteers.  

Who do we help?

Epilepsy Bereaved helps families who have experienced the loss of a relative or friend through epilepsy, health professionals, and people with epilepsy.
