Dead After Dark retired in March 1999, but leaves behind
its musical legacy. The band was founded by the song-writing
partnership of Steff (vocals and guitar), and String
(backing vocals and bass). There were several line-up
changes over the years, culminating in a three-piece that
also featured Holi Bush (drums).
The last few years saw Dead After Dark playing live both
in the UK and abroad, recording sessions for BBC regional
radio, appearing on local TV stations, recording their debut
album and winning a place in the final for the L!ve TV
National Battle of the Bands competition. 1997 saw major
line-up changes reflected in the last CD "See". This
recording and others will give you a taste of Dead After
Dark.
