A slightly grand "maison de maitre" on the edge of the old village of Betaille on the valley floor of the upper Dordogne River. Beautiful garden with large pool and sun terrace, on site open-air cafe for light lunches during the daytime throughout the summer months.

Essential medieval sights - Rocamadour, Bretenoux, Castelnau, Carennac, Beaulieu, Collonges-la-Rouge, Curemonte, Vayrac and Turenne - are all within 20 minutes drive. The River Dordogne flows past the local village of Carennac just three kilometres away - here you can hire a canoe and go afloat.

Accommodations:

There is one double bedroom with a separate private bathroom and another with an en-suite shower room, both are spacious. The style is light and airy, very traditional bourgeois France, good double beds .

You are very welcome to enjoy the large garden with its pool and terrace.






Continental breakfast, included in the basic tariff, is a relaxed affair served in the kitchen or on the terrace. 

Lunch can be found on the shaded terrace in the garden and there is a village restaurant just a short walk away and there is also a huge choice of good eateries to be found in local villages for dinner. The village has 2 boulangeries and a small supermarket.

Open during summer months from May to September.

There is a small, friendly dog on the premises.

Off road parking.
