Q Can anybody tell me about a red-headed Italian who played for Manchester United in the late 1960s/early 1970s ?

A workman like midfield player, he made 40 appearances for United (plus 15 as sub) scoring six goals before being transferred to Bologna in January 1973 for 50,000 pounds in Tommy Docherty's clear-out after his appointment the previous month. He played another 10 years in Italy for a succession of smaller clubs before retiring in 1984. He subsequently returned to Manchester, working as a professional knife-sharpener to hotels and restaurants. Paul Busby, Manchester.
