Football is notoriously nepotistic and it's amazing how many of the names from the 1970-71 season are being kept alive by their off-spring. There's even the odd famous daughter, too. As the site is getting older, it is finally getting its first Grandsons, too.

Whilst we're looking at relations, I've also included some other known family relations later on, including Brothers, Brothers-in-law, Daughters-In-Law, Sons-In-Law , Fathers, Grandfathers , Uncles, Nephews, Nieces, and Cousins.

All current players and latest clubs are listed at: Next Generation

Robert Hutton Moss (1983) The Book of Football lists. An Encyclopedia of Football Facts London, A Star Book Star. This fun book has 11 pages of footballing reletives, some of which I still haven't passed onto this page yet.

Barry J. Hugman (1981) Rothmans Football League Players Records. The Complete A-Z 1946-1981. Aylesbury, Rothmans Publications Limited. Again this has so many that I've never sat down and ploughed through them all, so I tend to use it as an independent check of other people's suggestions. Note later editions of this book dropped this information, however Hugman's Official FA Footballers Factfiles through the years has been a good confirmation source also.

Thanks to everyone who's made a contribution to this page.
