After the
selection of two players from each Second Division Team,
the album had a spare page entitled
Favourite Second Division Team
In the
centre of the page was the following information.
THIS SPACE IS
RESERVED
FOR YOUR FAVOURITE
SECOND DIVISION TEAM
As
well as the Seond Division Star Gallery- featuring
stars from all
Second Division Teams-you can
now collect the Team Sheet of your favourite
Second Division Team.
Each Team Sheet fetaures fifteen players on
a single, large sheet. Use
the order form on page 38 of this album to get the
Team Sheet of your favourite Second Division team.
Of course, if you want to collect Team Sheets for all
the Second Division clubs, you can do so.
I
have to admit that for thirty years I believed that these
sheets didn't actually exist as I had never seen one, or
reference to one, but a few years ago I saw one for Luton
Town on www.eBay.co.uk
It
seems they are pretty hot property and very hard to come
by. If your album has one you could add 50 to 75 pounds
to its value!
Sadly,
I am in no financial position to buy any of these when
they become available, but if you have one and can send
me a scan of it so that I could include the details on
this site I would be very grateful.
So
far the only Second Division Team Sheet players I have
been able to add to the site is at:
