on the official website at Welcome to Linfield Football Club Paul comments:
A lot of
people recommended Linfield to me, and I was very
impressed by what I saw when I was flown over and
shown around.
I love playing football. I have been given an
opportunity at Linfield to play football and be part
of a team that is desperate to do well. I am looking
forward to the challenge.
I have been made to feel very welcome in a very short
space of time at Linfield.
I am delighted to get an hour under my belt in
tonights game, because Im a week behind
in training compared to the rest of the squad. Once I
get my fitness up to standard, I will be able to add
some quality to my play as well.
We could have beaten Airdrie tonight if our fitness
levels had been up to theirs, because they have been
training and playing longer than us during this
pre-season. By no means do I think they were better
than us, and that is encouraging. I was impressed by
the standard of the other Linfield players
tonight.
