The Judge, aka Norman Giller, has created this book from questions asked in his regular column in the excellent Monday Sports section of The Sun. Edited by his son and work partner, Michael Giller, it is endlessly fascinating, and constantly has you muttering, 'I didn't realise that !' It is easy to pick up, put down and pick up again for months - finding new information every time. Hence, this is the perfect loo- side companion !

The cover says 'Hundreds of sporting arguments settled', though it doesn't mention the other hundred arguments it will start !

Norman not only knows his Sixties and Seventies football history, but was there to see it happen in his role as chief football reporter of the Daily Express. This is gratifyingly book number 69 for Norman, many of which are on football, and many written with Bob 70-71 star, Jimmy Greaves.

But above all else, he's a really nice bloke.
