About Bob 70-71

November 2001

I enjoy getting all emails to the site, but there is a familiar theme to many of them, so to save anyone wasting his / her time only to get a non-answer from me, I've finally conceded and added a Frequently Asked Questions page.

Since October 1999, this site has reviewed occasional issues the magazine monthly 'FourFourTwo'. Indeed the magazine has reviewed this site (favourably) twice as well. Hence, to tidy things up a bit, I've given the magazine an index page - which also acts as a reference for its excellent 'Action Replay' feature. See 'FourFourTwo'

There's some new pictures of Peter Bonetti on his old page and at the new page 'My Career at Chelsea' - an article from 1971

Thanks to Tony Bowden, the full line-ups, results and season's progress is now available for Crystal Palace 1970-71 Season.

Incidentally, this is the first time that I have been able to pass on this type of information, which involved some crafty computer work to convert files. Thanks must also go to others who have sent similar information, which I have not been able to convert. Please do send me the information for your team and I will do all I can to include it on the site.

The first Italian page has been added to the site thanks to Francesco Parigi, whose article about Cagliari at their peak can be found at 'Uno scudetto che non finisce mai' . This the third language to appear on the site after English and Dutch !

In honour of Francesco's fine efforts, there is now also a Cagliari page..

Thanks to 'FourForTwo' the UK monthly football magazine, there's a new page on Bob's 70-71 Players and their Scandals !
