About Bob 70-71

October 2001

30 October

Thanks to the continuing efforts of Jim Ross, Bertie Mee now has his own page following his death this month.

18 October

Jim Barron (Nottingham Forest) is a late new addition to the pages. Jim was unlucky not to be included in the 'World of Soccer Stars' book itself, as he was ever-present for Forest in the 1970-71 season. The book chose Alan Hill as the Forest goalie instead, though Alan never played League football after the 69-70 season. Jim is added following his appointment as caretaker manager of Birmingham City.

Thanks to Jim Ross, Ian Gilzean now has his own page.

12 October

Thanks to finding some new 1970-71 pictures Crewe Alexandria, Millwall, and Swindon Town all now have their own pages. Notts County have a new team photograph added.

There's also a new picture of Trevor Hockey after his move to Sheffield United in the 1970-71 season.

Finally, the whole set of A&BC Bubblegum cards is now available to see - some for the first time on this site. Including those that can now be seen at Burnley.

11 October

Already lots more pictures added to Lennart Kristiansson
