7. Other Censuses and Data Collection
The following census and data collection formats are optional parts of the ABBA database. The censuses (Forms 7 and 16) allow a better understanding of the status and number of Arabian breeding birds and can provide data for various other studies. The nest record datasheet (Form 6) provides a convenient means of collecting detail of individual nesting occurrences and is especially important for the many Arabian breeding birds where nesting information is deficient.
It is recommended that the form are printed off and completed by hand initially. They can be copied to a saved version later. Completed forms should be send to the ABBA Coordinator. All data provided to the ABBA Project is available to other researchers.
If any questions arise in the completion of the forms please email the Project Coordinator.
