The Temptress

AP50 to AP53

The Temptress starred a lovingly photographed Laura From Amiga Format in ethereal garb enticing readers to accept terrible elements of games in a column that was sort of a sequel to Kangaroo Court and sort of a sequel to Cam impressing girls in the building with pillion rides on his speedy wheelie-crasher.

The witty structure (the Temptress, with her wooooos and beckoning ssssibilancccce, would talk wispily on a subject - say, throwing away your Amiga to buy a PC - with the font size decreasing and the inaudible mumbling multiplying as she approached a rationale for the action) was slightly dented by the near-impenetrable curlicue font, which put a big static fizz in her gliding tones.

The Temptress collapsed almost immediately into encouraging readers to acquiesce to budget cuts in the mag itself, deftly highlighting our priority of angering concerns; and then vanished after prompting everyone to fill in the Reader Response Surveys and award her column a high, recommissionable score, deftly highlighting Cam's success in wooing the wooooer.

Tempting occurred frequently as the consort of Heaven and Hell.
