The Back Cover

Not quite The Back Page

The wheezing state of Amiga advertising meant that, towards the end of AP's run, the back cover, traditionally housing an expensive advertisement, remained unsold.

Ambitiously, rather than hand over the glossy weather-flap to a free ad or a house ad or something, the tiny remaining number of AP bods decided to make up their own Back Covers displaying Things to Do With a Dead Amiga, In The Style Of... The Back Page.

Ordinarily, this might be quite confusing.

(All Back Covers written by Steve Faragher and designed by Sue Huntley.)

AP59 to AP61 - THE F-MAX ADVERTISEMENT

Actually, a free ad for something we liked which we thought we may as well have. (Dusty old film rediscovered by Tim Norris; tidied up by Sue Huntley.)

AP62 - THE HANGING BASKET

A simple kit to brighten the angliest corner of any room and replenish the earth's depleted oxygen levels.

AP63 - THE TV DINNER TRAY

A convenient receptacle for your official soups and unsteady cans of F-Max.

AP64 - THE WOAD WARRIOR SHIELD

Just the ticket for your authentic re-enactment of inconclusive 14th century battles. Features a posed photograph of Steve guaranteed to put the willies up sassenachs, or anyone.

AP65 - STEVE AND SUE VERSUS THE FOUR CYCLISTS

Actually, this is the end of The End.
