EVENTS THIS ISH:

AP is one. Hurrah! We gain 16 pages and, for the first time, a second coverdisk. Hurrah! The price goes up 80p. Gah. (And don't forget, this was 1992 - back then, 80p would pay for you to have someone killed and still leave change for the bus fare to the caff and a plate of egg and chips to establish an alibi.)

Sal Meddings joins, only moments away from popping her sprog.

True Stories makes a bash at predicting AP's first official circulation figures (which'll be revealed in AP16). Not badly it punts at 55,173 - the actual number is 55,172. Our confidence rightly cemented, we immediately predict the hit games of the next few years, devoting several pages each ish to Mega Lo Mania 2, Spodland, etc.

Spindly mag veteran Gary Penn becomes an ordinary contributor after a year as Consultant Editor. The slight drawback of our no longer consulting him is that he always complains that the office bottles of pop are never the flavour he likes.

On the Other Hand cannot be stopped by normal human weapons.
