EVENTS THIS ISH:

Martin Axford leaves during the month (to Dep Ed PC Answers). Tim Norris is off (to the IMDB).

Steve Faragher returns (from editing Arcane, then going freelance, then starting a company, then selling it and going freelance again) to be anointed the King Stephen* of flatplannery with a crown we found in a drawer after we forgot to post it to a compo winner. Like Tim before him, Steve is a Freelance Ed, leaving Sue valiantly emitting tremendousness as the final remaining full-time mighty being.

AP is now a desk in the corner of Amiga Format's office, a tiny island of defiant splendour.

Exile fan Seb Grinke arrives as another new reviewer, seconded from the recently collapsed Binary Asylum (who were strung along then done in by their own publisher) after originally landing the job at the House of Zeewolf by sending them his coverdisk game Gunfighters. He suspects nothing, NOTHING.

Andy Smith takes over arranging the coverdisk, leading almost directly to the triumphant return of Kenny (Kenny Pick Up The Phone) Grant a few weeks later when the relevant game-providing publisher completely forgets how their own disk protection works.

Martin completes an ingenious flanking manoeuvre from the cover of his new building and jars C-Monster in the plexus with a cantering free-lance to claim the PD section for his own, forcing AP's resident long-haired student layabout to retreat with scuttling shaken fists to Complete Control.

We lose eight pages for the last time. Phew. (No, hang on.)
