An exciting bonus. When inspecting my files for the Subs Letters, I dislodged two exceedingly rare YS Subs Clubs, including this, the first one of all.

Startlingly, we can see that Linda's creation leapt into existence fully formed. The letter is undated, but the text clearly puts it at the beginning of the Andy Hutchinson Era, which would be YS71 (November 1991). In a bit of monocle-popping archaeology, Linda mentions an even earlier, apparently similar style of newsletter, pioneered by Whistlin' Rick Wilson. Anyone know anything about this?

The handwritten instructions, presumably from the production department, lend this important document a valuable authenticity. Just think - Linda herself could be looking for this paper right at this moment, knowing she had it as she packed up to leave YS and baffled as to why it never arrived at the AP office with her, as that meant she must have dropped it in the stairwell or somebody rifled her bags.
