Whisking us across the chops with the duster of surprise, Simon The Publisher heartily encouraged us to make the coverlines "more AMIGA POWER" when he took over. This is why, from AP51 onwards, there are seldom BELLOWING BECKONS and - most strikingly - full stops all over the place.
The exciting new style reached something of a pointy triumph with AP57, which caused Simon The Publisher to walk in, glance at the coverlines, say, "Yes. I did say to make them more AMIGA POWER, didn't I? Yep, that's what I said all right," and walk out again, obviously hastening to order a new wing for his house based on the grateful promotion from the company board that would result.
