*Though how Zzap could be "innovative" when (by design) it was a carbon copy of the same publisher's original hit Crash is a mystery of the ancients. Maybe the C64 mag was appropriately beige or something.

Incidentally, I recently stumbled on the original prototype scribble-papes for Crash (which is to say they were prominently displayed on a famous Crash tribute site I accidentally veered on to, not that I found them in a burglary or something) and was tremendously pleased to see that their guiding philosophy from conception was "attitude of editorial matter must be seen to be on the side of reader - giving them the lowdown with sharp honesty - saving them nasty surprises when buying software."

Isn't it the best thing when someone turns out to be exactly as great as you'd imagined? Anyway, it's useless struggling; I purchased those knots of a matelot with silvers, the door is securely fastened and boarded and this gas stove will explode in less than a few. Ha! Ha! Ha! Farewell!
