Not to worry, readers - mindful of how scripts can be mangled on the way to the screen, I was carefully fair to find the original screenplay before kneading my judgment.

It's rubbish and, where the mystery riddle bits appear in the plot, there are gaps reading, "RIDDLE ONE GOES HERE - FILL IN LATER."

I was slightly torn on learning some years afterwards that the horrible author was directly responsible for The West Wing (by suggesting it to A Sorkin, who was on his way to a meeting with no ideas in his head) but courageously set my manly jaw and continued to have Akiva Goldsman killed.
