*This is entirely true. The final one I did, The Funny Pages, a single page at the usual rate, required two years to finish; though to be fair, it did involve finding exactly the right people to draw some comic strips, plus determining if an early strip idea would work before asking (them), which as it happened it wouldn't, except that took me seven or so months of scribbly sketches and researching a particular drawing technique to establish to my satisfaction.

Basically, don't ask me to sign any birthday cards.
