Another excellent internal misunderstanding this month. I asked if anyone had an idea for the B Page, like coming up with purposeless joke features as part of my endangeringly few contributions to the mag which paid my wage wasn't my job or something. Cam remembered a proposal of Dave Green's which he hadn't got round to writing - a film strictly in the style of a game.

(So, for example, the action would stop every 10 minutes for the caption, "Please wait - reel change.")

I declined, on the grounds it was Dave's idea (ie, it would be a bit of a cheat making off with it without asking). Cam pointed out testily that, just because I hadn't come up with an idea, that didn't make it worthlessly unfunny. This took about 30 minutes to sort out. Just 15 months later, we were all dead.

(Hang on, did we ask Dave if we could use his idea after all?

Look! It's a decoy!)
