A long time ago now the owners of Upper Oversley Lodge started to call their house 'Oversley Castle', when the true castle had been sited near the rive The same at Studley, where the new house on the hill got the name 'Studley Castle': the original castle had been next to the church Coughton has transgressed, too. The modem retirement home on the main road is named 'Coughton Lodge', when the true 'Coughton Lodge' is alive and well up Wyke Lane.
